There are two ways to share a file in OneDrive. You can share the file directly from your OneDrive file list, or you can open the file first and use the Share button in the upper-right corner.

Option 1 : Share from the OneDrive file list

Locate the file you want to share, then select the Share icon next to the file.

Option 2: Share from an open file

Open the file you want to share. Once the file is open, select the Share button in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Note: Microsoft 365 applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, include a Share button in the upper-right corner when working with files stored in OneDrive.
