Panel 1 (Elston 134, Elston 136, Elston 234, Elston 236, Elston 239)

Selecting a Source (Top Row)
Along the top of the panel, touch one button to choose what appears on the display:
- Computer – Displays the installed classroom or podium computer.
- A confirmation message appears indicating the computer is selected and should be controlled using the keyboard and mouse.
- Laptop – Displays a user‑connected laptop (typically via HDMI).
- Document Camera – Displays the live feed from the document camera.
- Mobile Device (AirMedia) – Displays content shared wirelessly from a mobile device using AirMedia.
Note: Selecting a source automatically switches both video and audio to that input.
On‑Screen Status Message (Center Area)
The large blue center area displays system messages, such as the currently selected source and instructions for controlling presentations. This area provides visual feedback only and does not require user interaction.
Volume Controls (Right Side)
Under the Program section:
- Up (▲) – Increases audio volume.
- Mute – Silences audio without changing volume levels.
- Down (▼) – Decreases audio volume.
System Utilities (Bottom Right)
Utilities - Opens additional system or room controls, if available.
Use this option only when advanced or room‑specific settings are needed.
System Shutdown (Bottom Left)
System Off - Powers down the entire audiovisual system, including the display and connected equipment. As stated above, please do NOT use this feature.
Basic Operating Workflow
- Select a source (Computer, Laptop, Document Camera, or Mobile Device).
- Adjust volume or use Mute if needed.
- Present your content using the selected source device.
- Access Utilities if required.
Panel 2 (Elston 320, Elston 332, Elston 334, Elston 335, Elston 418, Elston 420, Elston 423, Elston 425, Gateway 127)
Power and Volume Controls (Left Panel)
- Display Power - Press this button to turn the projector or display on or off. Allow a short warm‑up or cool‑down period when powering the display.
- Volume Control (Max / Min) - Use these buttons to raise or lower the audio volume for the selected source.
Selecting a Video Source (Left Panel)
Press one source button at a time to choose what appears on the display:
- DVD – Shows video from the built‑in or connected DVD player.
- VCR – Shows video from a connected VHS player.
- Auxiliary Video – For external devices such as a guest media player or legacy video source.
- PC – Displays a permanently installed desktop computer.
- Laptop – Displays a user‑connected laptop (typically via a wall or table connection).
- Document Camera – Displays live video from the document camera.
Note: Selecting a new source automatically switches both video and audio to that device.
DVD & VCR Mode Selection (Right Panel)
At the top of the right panel:
Press DVD or VCR to choose which device the playback controls manage. Only one can be active at a time.
Menu and Navigation Controls (Right Panel)
- Title – Returns to the DVD title screen (DVD mode only).
- Menu – Opens the DVD main menu.
- Enter – Confirms a selection.
- Tuner (arrow pad) – Use the up, down, left, and right arrows to navigate menus or settings.
Playback Controls (Right Panel)
Standard media transport buttons control the selected DVD or VCR:
- Prev / Rew – Go to the previous chapter or rewind.
- Play – Start playback.
- Next / Fwd – Skip to the next chapter or fast forward.
- Pause – Temporarily halt playback.
- Stop – Stop playback completely.
Basic Operating Workflow
- Turn on the display using Display Power.
- Select the desired source (PC, Laptop, DVD, etc.).
- If using DVD or VCR, select the correct mode and use playback controls.
- Adjust volume as needed.
- When finished, stop playback and power off the display.
Panel 3 (Elston 323, Elston 324)

Display Power Controls (Left Section)
- ON – Turns the projector or display on.
- OFF – Powers the display off. Allow time for cool‑down.
- MUTE – Temporarily silences all audio without changing the volume level.
Volume Control (Left Section)
Volume Knob – Turn clockwise to increase volume, counterclockwise to decrease.
Volume Indicator Lights – LEDs show the current audio level from low to high.
Image Adjustment (Left Vertical Buttons)
AUTO IMAGE – Automatically adjusts the image size, alignment, and clarity.
Use this if the projected image appears off‑center, fuzzy, or incorrectly scaled.
Selecting a Video Source (Center Section)
Press one source button to choose what appears on the display. The active source lights up.
- PC (1) – Displays the installed classroom or podium computer.
- VGA (2) – Displays a laptop or device connected via VGA.
- HDMI (3) – Displays a device connected via HDMI (most modern laptops).
- DOC CAM (4) – Displays the document camera.
- DVD (5) – Displays video from the DVD player.
- (Button 6) – Reserved or unused input (if not labeled, it may be inactive).

Press DVD or VCR at the top to select which device the transport controls operate. Only one mode can be active at a time.
Menu and Navigation Controls (Right Section)
- TITLE – Returns to the DVD title screen.
- MENU – Opens the DVD main menu.
- TV/VCR – Toggles VCR display modes (VCR only).
- ENTER – Confirms a menu selection.
- TUNER Arrows – Navigate up, down, left, and right through menus.
Playback Controls (Right Section)
Standard media controls for DVD or VHS playback:
- PREV / REW – Previous chapter or rewind.
- PLAY – Start playback.
- NEXT / FWD – Next chapter or fast forward.
- PAUSE – Temporarily pause playback.
- STOP – Stop playback completely.
Basic Operating Workflow
- Press ON to power the display.
- Select the desired source (PC, HDMI, Doc Cam, DVD).
- Adjust volume or use MUTE if needed.
- Use DVD/VCR controls if playing physical media.
- When finished, press STOP, then OFF to power down.
Panel 4 (Stockade 201, Stockade 205, Stockade 206, Stockade 301, CST L215, School of Music 215)
Choosing a Source (Top Center)

- Computer – Displays the installed classroom or podium computer.
- Visualizer – Displays the document camera or visualizer.
- HDMI Laptop – Displays a laptop connected via HDMI.
- VGA Laptop – Displays a laptop connected via VGA.
- AirMedia – Displays wireless presentation content (when supported).

- Air Media – Displays content shared wirelessly through the AirMedia system.

On‑Screen Status Message (Center Area)
The large center panel displays system messages, such as:
- Confirmation of the currently selected source
- Instructions to use the keyboard and mouse when the computer source is active
This area provides visual feedback but does not require user interaction.
Display Controls (Right Side)
Under “DISPLAY”:
- Display On – Turns the projector or display on.
- Black Screen – Temporarily blanks the image without turning the display off (useful during breaks).
- Display Off – Turns the projector or display off.
- Allow time for proper cool‑down before leaving the room.
Volume Controls (Right Side)
- Up (+) – Increases audio volume.
- Mute – Silences the audio without changing volume levels.
- Down (–) – Decreases audio volume.
- Volume Bar – Shows the current volume level visually.
System Shutdown (Bottom Right)
Shutdown - Powers down the entire audiovisual system, including the display and connected equipment.

- Document Camera – Displays the live feed from the document camera.
- Mobile Device (AirMedia) – Displays content shared wirelessly from a mobile device using AirMedia.
Note: Selecting a source makes it available for routing to one or more room displays.

Sending Content to Displays (Right Center)
Under “Send to…”, choose where the selected source will appear:
- Main Display – Routes content to the primary screen.

- Rear Display 3 – Routes content to the third rear display.
Buttons show the currently assigned source for each display.

- Use this if the image appears distorted or off‑center.
- Screen Up – Raises a motorized projection screen.
- Screen Down – Lowers a motorized projection screen.

Press one button to choose what appears on the display:
- PC – Displays the installed classroom or podium computer.
- Laptop – Displays a user‑connected laptop.
- Doc Camera – Displays the document camera.

- Aux – Displays an auxiliary external video source.

Selecting a Source (Top Row)

- HDMI – Displays a user‑connected laptop or device via HDMI.
- Wireless Presentation – Displays content shared wirelessly from a compatible device.
- Blu‑ray Disc – Displays video from the Blu‑ray player.
