Elston Classroom Upgrades Usage

Touch the main screen anywhere to turn on the system. Note the screen may be black if in sleep mode. Touching the screen will display the screen shown above.

Touch the icons at the top of the screen to select the source you would like to view. This will turn the display on if it is powered off. These icons include:

  • Computer: this will display the screen from the computer system built into the teacher station
  • Laptop: this will display what is on your personal laptop, when you've connect the HDMI cable on the teaching station to your device.
  • Document Camera: this will display what is placed under the document camera, also found on the teacher station
  • Mobile Device: this displays a wireless device with the AirMedia puck plugged into it. The AirMedia puck uses a USB-C input. It may take several seconds for the connection to be made.

Adjusting the Program up or down arrows will raise or lower the volume in the room. The MUTE button will toggle the volume on and off. Note that the volume on the source device must be turned up as well.

The SYSTEM OFF button in the bottom left corner will turn off the system and the display. A message may appear on the display then the display will turn off after approximately 10 seconds.
